We bid a fond farwell to Mr. Scott Latham, as he leaves Vance to assume the position of Transportation Director with the Bristol TN City Schools. We would also like to welcome Mr. Seymour Ray, our new Assistant Principal. Congratulations and best wishes Mr. Latham & welcome to Vance Mr. Ray!!

Final report cards for all students without financial obligations have been mailed to the address on file. Thank you for your patience.

2009-2010 Team Assignments will be mailed no later than July 24th. Supply lists for each team can be accessed via the link below

Drop-in visitation for new students will be held on July 30th from 1:00 - 2:30 P. M. This is simply a chance for parents/students to drop in and visit the building and team areas and will not take longer than five or ten minutes. Teachers will not be present at this time.

**Students who will be enrolled at Vance during the 2009-2010 school year will need to have a current physical & health data form on file in the office prior to any participation in athletic activities or tryouts per TSSAA regulations**

8:00 A. M. until Noon--Monday thru Thursday
May 27th - July 1st
No classes on Fridays

After school tutoring is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2:30 - 3:30 in either the 7th grade lab or with team teachers. Please contact team teachers to find a tutor.
Tutoring is not just for those who need homework assistance, you can come use the computer lab to work on assignments in Study Island or Skills Tutor. The lab is even open on designated Saturdays for both parent and student use.

SUMMER SCHOOL will be in session from 8 A. M. until Noon, Monday thru Thursday beginning on May 28th and ending on July 1st -- Summer School classes are not held on Fridays.
Students must clear any outstanding obligations before they will be allowed to enroll in summer school courses
